You’d think that Elon Musk would be the Left’s superhero.
He supported Barrack Obama in 2008 and 2012, Hillary Clinton in 2016, and Joe Biden in 2020. He had previously expressed support for a number of the Left’s policy fantasies, including Universal Basic Income.
He founded a company which would become PayPal, helping to create a peer-to-peer payment system that liberated consumers from predatory big banks.
He built Tesla and almost single-handedly made electric vehicles cool and mainstream—something climate activists claim is necessary to stop the planet from burning alive.
He invested heavily in solar power (through the eventual acquisition of Solar City), which, again, the left continues to champion on a regular basis.
But despite Elon being their guy for so long, the Left has been suffering for the past few years from a very clear case of Elon Derangement Syndrome.
It started with his acquisition of Twitter and assertion that he is a “free speech absolutist” who wanted to turn the platform into a town square where the free exchange of ideas would not be censored.
Well, if there’s one thing the Left hates, it’s the free exchange of ideas. So the hate and vitriol began back in 2022.
Three years later, the Left calls him a full-blown Nazi. There’s even a Wikipedia entry for “Elon Musk salute controversy” over a perceived ‘Nazi salute’ he made in January.
What exactly is Elon’s big sin? He wants to shrink the size of government… which, if we’re being intellectually honest, is pretty anti-Nazi.
Think about it: Hitler was all about big government. The bigger the government, the more power he had. In fact Hitler didn’t concern himself in the slightest with government balance sheets or budgets… and he didn’t care one bit that the Nazi regime ran massive budget deficits throughout the 1930s (which became even worse when World War II started).
Elon is trying to do the opposite: Cut government spending. Cut the bureaucracy. Cut the deficit. These aren’t Nazi policies. These are American policies.
But such is the way of the Left. They throw hissy fits and temper tantrums and call anyone who disagrees with them a “Nazi” or “conspiracy theorist” or “anti-science” or “White Supremacist” or whatever their insult du jour happens to be.
Then they show you what they really stand for— which is absolutely nothing.
Sure, there’s the bad Internet memes and TikTok meltdowns. But the Left’s derangement has now escalated into shooting and firebombing.
In Loveland, Colorado— a bastion of leftist derangement— Lucy Grace Nelson arrived at a Tesla dealership armed with four Molotov cocktails, i.e. gasoline-filled bottles which explode on impact.
She hurled them at parked Teslas and watched it all burn.
Then she came back again. And again. Throughout February, Lucy spray-painted “Nazi” under the entrance sign, torched a Tesla Cybertruck, and scrawled “F*ck Musk” in giant red letters across the dealership’s front doors.
It turns out, “Lucy Grace” Neslon used to be “Justin Thomas” Nelson and apparently becomes violent whenever someone says that children shouldn’t receive life-altering sex-changes (as Elon has expressed).
Nelson’s crimes border on terrorism, i.e. ideologically-driven violence, coercion, and intimidation. Yet local authorities filed far lesser charges of “criminal mischief”.
And this is far from an isolated incident.
On March 2, vandals in Maryland spray-painted “No Musk” alongside a swastika on a Tesla building.
On March 3, a Massachusetts Tesla Supercharger station was set on fire in the middle of the night. (This one is really ironic given that the toxicity of an electrical fire is especially hazardous to the environment… something that the Left proclaims to care about.)
Then an Oregon man firebombed a Tesla dealership on Inauguration Day, torching vehicles with Molotov cocktails; he then returned a few weeks later with an AR-style rifle and fired into the Tesla storefront.
A different Oregon dealership has had shots fired at it twice this month.
In Germany radical eco-terrorists calling themselves “Volcano Group” claimed responsibility for sabotaging a Tesla factory, cutting power to the entire facility by setting fire to an electricity pylon.
Later, 800 environmental fanatics tried to storm the factory in an attempted mass shutdown.
Other similar acts of violence and vandalism against Tesla dealerships, superchargers, and just random Tesla owners have occurred recently in Washington, California, Chicago, and Boston.
And let’s not forget the dozens of women who marched topless last week in Paris (in Nazi attire, except for their exposed bosoms) to protest fascism… and Elon.
So let’s review the Leftist philosophy:
They’re anti-gun, unless they need guns to shoot at their perceived political enemies.
They’re #Just Stop Oil— unless they need oil to fill a Molotov cocktail to destroy electric vehicles.
They’re pro-environment unless they need to blow up charging stations to protest Elon.
And they’re all about “democracy” except when it’s time to resort to actual terrorism in order to achieve their aims.
Bottom line, these Inspired Idiots stand for absolutely nothing. They have no values, no code… and absolutely no brains.
